Forge a Memory, owned and operated by Chad Osborne, is a sponsor for our team. Chad has made 2 appearances on History Channel's Forged in Fire. Each season, Chad donates a knife that is raffled. All of the raffle proceeds are given to the Trapshooting Team at Western Michigan University to help defray the cost of participation.

Chad's support of our team is truly appreciated. If you are on Mackinac Island and want to have a memorable, unique experience go and forge a knife with Chad. He has two stores--Forge a Memory Mackinac Island and The Forge located in Mackinaw City. 

Pheasants Forever SC

The South Central Michigan Pheasants Forever Chapter's mission is to conserve pheasants, quail, and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public access, education, and conservation advocacy.  There are more than 750 chapters throughout the United States and 130,000 members. The members are diverse and include farmers, hunters, ranchers, landowners, conservationists, and wildlife officials. 

We are grateful for Pheasants Forever's financial support to help keep outdoor shooting sports active at the collegiate level.  

On Target

On Target Guns & Gunsmithing is located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Jim and Alex, co-owners of On Target have been in the gun industry for 40 years and have extensive knowledge in gunsmithing. Whether you are in the market for a new gun, or need to have a gun repaired, this is the place to go! On Target is open everyday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and have special hours on Sundays (10:00-5:00).  They are located on Main Street in Kalamazoo near the Meijer store.

The Trapshooting Team at Western Michigan University is part of the Sports Club Council (SCC) at WMU. This leadership organization provides funding to club sports that follow the guidelines of the SCC, advocate for club sports and represent WMU in highest regard.

The Trapshooting Team at Western Michigan University are members of the Western Student Association (WSA) at WMU. Western Student Association serves as an empowerment platform for the student body by amplifying voices, providing support and resources, along with fostering an environment of collaboration to create opportunities for growth and impact. We exist to empower students to create the change they want to see. 

Lakes Area Conservation Club

Lakes Area Conservation Club is the homefield for the Trapshooting Team at Western Michigan University. LACC welcomes the public to shoot a round of trap on Wednesdays from 4:00-6:30 p.m. for $6. Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to noon is also open to the public. 

LACC has a sporting clays field, too. Sporting Clays is often described as "a round of golf, but using a shotgun to hit targets". It is open to the public for $20 per round and is held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:00-1:00 p.m.

We Need You

The Trapshooting Team at Western Michigan University is looking for sponsors like you! Sponsorship can be by providing In-kind supplies such as ammunition, team shirts or other apparel, a tent with your company logo, a team shotgun, cooler, tables, chairs, or use of a golf cart when traveling to state and national events.

A financial donation to our team will help reduce the cost of ammunition, target fees for practices, target fees for competitions, and registration fees to belong to the USA College Clay Target League, Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA). 

For your generous donation, your name or company logo will be placed on our team shirts, website, and banner that is displayed at all practices and competitions. Please contact our advisor if you would like more information about sponsorship.
